Æsingur is an Icelandic Speculative Fiction convention, hosted between the main IceCon conventions that take place every other year. This is the first time for Æsingur and the venue is the welcoming surroundings of the Nordic House in Reykjavík. The aim of the convention is to rally Icelandic authors and fans of SF together to discuss the Icelandic scene and to inspire Icelandic writers to carry on the important work.
The convention will take place at the 3rd of November in the Nordic House. It starts at 14:00 and finishes around 18:00. During the evening there will be a PubQuiz in the spirit of the convention in Stúdentakjallarinn.
The convention is in Iceland and admission is free of charge.
